Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the pull-out and the corner sofa mechanism?
With the OG-500 pull-out mechanism, you pull the frame forward and a hidden upholstered extension rises 18 cm on an S-shaped path, forming a bed level with the seat. With the OG-510 corner mechanism, a wheeled inner frame slides out from under the seat and a hidden platform rises about 20 cm to seat height. Both come in a small size: OG-501 and OG-511.
How does the Puma mechanism work?
OG-540 converts a sofa into a bed. Lift the seat by its front edge: the mechanism first slides it forward about 10 cm, then opens it into a bed, so the seat and backrest fabrics never rub. The backrest stays fixed. The left and right mechanisms are linked by a 30×20 box section.
How many positions does the ratchet armrest have?
The top of OG-530 tilts in three 15° steps. At 60° the lock releases and the armrest returns when lowered. The two mechanisms are welded into one set with ø16 tubes; tube length is made to order. Black powder coat as standard; OG-530-Z is zinc plated.
What size is the tubular backrest mechanism?
OG-520 is 22 cm high as standard; OG-520-26 is 26 cm. The backrest travels about 30 cm forward and back. Tube length is made to order to suit the sofa design; 33 cm is the most common.
Is the coffee table mechanism spring or gas spring operated?
SH-500 is spring-assisted as standard; SH-500-G uses gas springs. The top rises 226 mm and moves 323 mm forward. Each set includes two mechanisms, a telescopic link and two springs.
